July hotel occupancy rate hits 68.8 percent

The occupancy rate for 3-5 star hotels in Hungary was 68.8 percent in July 2008, up from 61.9 percent in June, the Central Statistical Office reported on Monday.

[MTI] The July rate was also up from the 66.3 percent of July 2007.

In January-July 2008 the average occupancy rate was 56.3 percent, slightly up from 56.1 percent for the same period of 2007.
